We aim to drive positive change by working with partner brands and retailers that are aligned with our values.

Sustainability Product Standards at Zalando

According to our Attitude-Gap Behaviour Report, every second customer does not understand what sustainability means in a fashion context, highlighting a need for standardised and more accurate product information. This is also underlined by EU legislation, which has an industry-wide impact, provides more concrete guidance on sustainability-related communications, what information our partners provide about their products and what the consumer see’s when shopping these products.

As such, Zalando’s Sustainability Product Standards Requirements ensure that all articles and content provided from the partner complies with relevant European standards and legislation, as well as Zalando’s Ethical Standards.
