Robert Gentz
Co-CEO Zalando SE (German, born 1983)
Robert co-founded Zalando in Berlin in 2008. As Co-CEO he is responsible for the company’s strategy and corporate affairs, as well as the company’s technology and product development. He also leads Zalando’s efforts in Sustainability as well as Diversity and Inclusion. Robert holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
David Schneider
Co-CEO Zalando SE (German, born 1982)
David co-founded Zalando in 2008. As Co-CEO, he defines and drives the marketing and growth strategy of Zalando’s consumer offerings, bringing together markets, propositions and inspiration to excite and retain customers and brand partners. David holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Dr Sandra Dembeck
Chief Financial Officer Zalando SE (German, born 1974)
As CFO at Zalando, Sandra leads the Finance and Corporate Governance teams. Sandra joined Zalando‘s Management Board in March 2022. Prior to joining Zalando, Sandra held various Finance leadership roles at Compass Group Plc, Kingfisher Plc and C&A. Before that she was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company. Sandra holds a master‘s degree and a PhD in Business Administration.
David Schröder
Chief Operating Officer (COO) Zalando SE (German, born 1982)
In his role as COO (Chief Operating Officer), David focuses on building and scaling Zalando’s unique capabilities to enable the company’s growth. David has been part of Zalando’s senior management team since 2010, working as CFO until 2022 and as SVP Convenience until 2019. Before joining Zalando, he worked at McKinsey & Company. David holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Dr Astrid Arndt
Chief People Officer (CPO) Zalando SE (German, born 1971)
As Zalando’s CPO, Astrid leads and builds the People & Organization (P&O) teams. Before this, Astrid was SVP P&O at Zalando, having joined the company in 2018. Prior to joining Zalando, Astrid led the HR department for legal staff at Hengeler Mueller, before which she was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.
