Robert Gentz
Co-founder and co-CEO Zalando SE (German, born 1983)
Robert co-founded Zalando in Berlin in 2008. As co-CEO, Robert oversees Zalando's strategy with a particular focus on expanding its B2C growth vector to build the go-to-destination for quality fashion and lifestyle shopping as well as inspiration. Robert holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
David Schröder
Co-CEO Zalando SE (German, born 1982)
As co-CEO, David is co-responsible for the company’s strategy, with a focus on building the B2B operating system that enables e-commerce across Europe on and off the Zalando platform, and further developing Zalando’s unique capabilities and infrastructure. David has been part of Zalando’s senior management team since 2010, working as SVP Convenience until 2019, CFO until 2022 and COO until 2024. Before joining Zalando, he worked at McKinsey & Company. David holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Anna Dimitrova, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Zalando SE (Bulgarian-German, born 1976)
As CFO, Anna focuses on further strengthening the company’s financial foundation, driving scalable growth, and unlocking meaningful long-term value creation. Anna joined Zalando in January 2026 and with an international career spanning over 20 years, she has experience across all aspects of finance, including M&A, capital markets, and investor relations. Previously, she held executive roles at Vodafone Group and Deutsche Glasfaser in the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Anna holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Friedrich-Alexander University in Germany and a Diploma of Management from the Henley Management School in the UK.
David Schneider

David Schneider co-founded Zalando in 2008. As a member of the management board, he focuses on building Group-wide strategic partnerships across Zalando's B2C and B2B ambitions. David holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Dr Astrid Arndt
Chief People Officer, Corporate Functions, (CPO) Zalando SE (German, born 1971)
As Zalando’s CPO, Corporate Functions, Astrid oversees the People & Organisation, Corporate Affairs and Workplace teams, strengthening all of Zalando’s corporate functions to enable the effective execution of the ecosystem strategy and building a diverse and inclusive culture. Previously, Astrid was SVP P&O at Zalando, having joined the company in 2018. Prior to joining Zalando, Astrid led the HR department as Director of Recruiting & Professional Development at Hengeler Mueller, before which she was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.
