Zalando launches in Croatia, Estonia, Latvia and expands Partner Program

  • Customers in Croatia, Estonia and Latvia can now access the most comprehensive fashion assortment in their markets, and the known and loved Zalando convenience in delivery, payments and returns
  • After the successful launch in Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia, this expansion is another major step for Zalando to be the Starting Point for Fashion in Europe
  • Additionally, Zalando expands its Partner Program to six new markets

BERLIN, JULY 29, 2021 // Zalando, Europe's leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle, launches in Croatia, Estonia and Latvia and brings the Zalando convenience, experience and fashion selection that customers know and love. Local customers can now choose from 300,000 products from 1,400 sought-after brands, such as Lindex, Topshop, Next, or premium brands like Vivienne Westwood, many of which are available for the first time in these markets. Additionally, Partner Program brands can now operate via the Zalando platform in all recently launched markets: Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Zalando brings the fitting room to customers’ homes in Croatia, Estonia and Latvia by offering free deliveries and free returns for up to 30 days after purchase. Customers in these three countries will further benefit from multiple payment options, as well as pre- and post-purchase customer support in their local languages.

Zalando is also creating additional growth opportunities for existing and new brand partners by expanding its Partner Program to all six recently launched markets. For existing brand partners, this means access to over 17.5 million potential new customers that they can build deep and strong relationships with. Local brands in the new markets can also now apply to join the Zalando Partner Program and sell their products online across Europe via the platform. This way Zalando is supporting the local industry growth and its internationalization while complementing the brands’ digital strategies.

 

In the coming weeks, Zalando will launch localized social-first marketing initiatives with local influencers and partners in its three newest markets to engage with new customers in a relevant and meaningful way.

 

In 2021 Zalando successfully launched in six new markets and will continue its growth story with expansion to Hungary and Romania in 2022.
