Relaunch of Zalando’s Zircle App: New features make selling and buying pre-owned fashion easier than ever
- Zalando Zircle customers in Germany can now return items bought from other users on the marketplace to Zalando
- Cooperation with DHL offers free shipping for all Zircle marketplace users, sponsored by Zalando
- Integration of Zalando order history makes all products bought on Zalando directly available for resale on Zircle
BERLIN, OCTOBER 28, 2021 // Zalando, Europe’s leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle, has relaunched its Zircle App - the only platform on the market offering customers a one-stop selling solution: a peer-to-peer marketplace experience where they can easily buy and sell to and from other users, as well as sell to Zalando directly. Marketplace users in Germany, where the Zircle app is currently available for female clothes, now benefit from free and tracked shipping with DHL, sponsored by Zalando, as well as the option to return items they have purchased from other users on the marketplace, receiving a Zalando gift voucher for the value of the item. The option to sell and buy men’s clothing in the community will be added soon. By enabling customers to prolong the life of their clothing, Zircle contributes to Zalando’s mission to be the Starting Point for Fashion and a more sustainable fashion platform.
The Zircle app, launched in Germany under the name “wardrobe” in 2018, complements Zalando’s Pre-owned category offer that is currently available in 13 of Zalando’s 23 European markets and which has grown tenfold to now over 200,000 items since its launch in 2020.
