BERLIN, SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 // Zalando, a leading European e-commerce destination for fashion and lifestyle, introduces Stories on Zalando, the new inspiration experience, created in collaboration with Highsnobiety. Stories on Zalando redefines the way of discovering exciting fashion and culture trends, offering customers expertly curated content in visual-first formats like short videos, including seamless connections to purchasing inspiring products they truly love. Customers can experience Stories on Zalando in the dedicated content hub, as well as through various interaction points on Zalando’s website, app, and social channels.
Last year, Zalando acquired a majority stake in Highsnobiety to tap into its best-in-class expertise in creating inspiring fashion content and cater to the new generation of customers seeking more engaging and immersive shopping experiences. Highsnobiety acts as a strategic and creative consultant helping Zalando develop new inspiration-focused spaces and formats. Since the start of the collaboration, Zalando has implemented over 80 highly engaging curated product drops viewed by over 7 million unique users.
Stories on Zalando will feature weekly content updates, including the five leading series: Cover Story, Style Bible, Guest Edit, The Perfect X, and Unpacked. Zalando and Highsnobiety will carefully curate the content of the series in collaboration with invited creative talents.
- Cover Story will give the audience a glimpse into the personal world and style of some of the most fashionable global personalities. The content series kicks off with insights from British singer, songwriter, and producer Charli XCX.
- In Style Bible, creatives share the aesthetic manual that they personally live by. In the first edition, Irish-Scottish singer-music producer Sega Bodega opens up about his very own style rules.
- In Guest Edit, locally and globally relevant creatives share their top curated clothes picks, why they like them, and how these pieces fit into their personal style.
- In The Perfect X, Zalando will bring together industry experts to discuss the anatomy of the perfect fashion item.
- In the Unpacked series, customers will get unique insights into key fashion products, trends, and personalities.
The Stories on Zalando section is now available for customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, with the plans to roll out to more markets next year.
