Customers in Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia Can Now Access the Most Comprehensive Fashion Assortment in Their Markets on Zalando

BERLIN, JUNE 2, 2021 // Zalando, Europe's leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle, launches in Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia today, giving customers access to the most comprehensive fashion assortment in those markets and offering the known and loved Zalando convenience in delivery, payments and returns. With the Zalando platform becoming available in those markets, customers can now shop loved and highly sought-after brands such as Topshop and Lindex directly from their devices, among many others. 

Customers in the three countries will benefit from free deliveries and free returns for up to 30 days after purchase, truly bringing the fitting room to their homes. They will further be able to choose between the preferred payment options in each market and experience the Zalando platform, including as pre and post-purchase customer support, in Lithuanian, Slovakian and Slovenian.

The expansion to the three new markets also represents additional growth opportunities for brands. Existing brand partners that already operate internationally via the Zalando platform will be able to  connect with many new customers and start to build deep and strong relationships. Local brands in the three new countries can apply to join Zalando’s Partner Program and start selling their products online across Europe via the platform. This way Zalando is supporting the local industry growth and its internationalization while complementing the brands’ digital strategies.

Over the course of next few weeks, Zalando will launch localized social-first marketing initiatives with local influencers and partners in all three countries to engage with new customers in a relevant and meaningful way.

Zalando will further expand to Croatia, Estonia and Latvia this year, and Hungary and Romania in 2022.
