Berlin, November 17, 2022 // Competitive strength, future viability, and innovative ability: The German Retail Association (HDE) honored Zalando's success story last night in Berlin with the German Retail Award 2022 in the category of “Large Company”.

“The HDE is an institution in the industry and we are honored to receive their German Retail Award for our entrepreneurial success story,” says Christoph Lütke Schelhowe, General Manager DACH at Zalando, who accepted the prize. “The award shows that we are on the right track with Zalando. We will continue to work together with our colleagues and industry partners to offer our customers across Europe the best possible shopping experience via our platform and thus shape the future of European retail.” 

The HDE's German Retail Award has been presented annually since 2002 and honors special management achievements and outstanding personalities in the retail industry. A jury honors companies and individuals in the categories “Medium-Sized Businesses”, “Large Company”, “Face of Retail” and “Lifetime Award”.
