Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary groups organized and formed by employees on the basis of shared identity or experience.

ERGs enhance the workplace culture and foster a diverse and inclusive environment. The various core teams initiate community projects and aim to create safer spaces where colleagues come together, raise awareness and support each other. They also amplify employee voices to inform leadership about the needs of their communities and act as a sounding board on many projects around diversity and inclusion within the company. The ERG programme is one of many Zalando sponsored measures aiming to ensure a more respectful and inclusive company culture, as stated in our D&I strategy Inclusive by design.
In alphabetical order, these are our current 12 ERGs and their brief self-presentation:
Asia Pacific Community Circle
Zalando employees from the Asia-Pacific community advocate for their experiences and form a safe space to support, care for and nurture members in and outside of the company.
Black Employee Connection
The group provides a safe space to celebrate and empower the Black community by amplifying Black voices, advancing Black excellence and driving sustainable change within Zalando.
En-Able
En-Able wants to ensure disability inclusion and caregiver support are rooted in Zalando's foundation, by empowering employees facing disability-related challenges and equipping leaders with the tools for inclusive collaboration.
Jewish Community & Friends
Embracing the Jewish traditions, this group is dedicated to celebrating the rich cultural moments and fostering greater understanding as they invite everyone across Zalando to engage, discover and support one another in collective growth.
Mental Wellbeing Community
This group helps employees nurture their mental health and wellbeing through providing a safe platform for exchange, community support and thought-provoking events.
Muslim Community Network
This ERG aims to celebrate and elevate the Muslim community at Zalando through strategic advocacy, professional excellence and the creation of an inclusive workplace, where members feel seen, supported and empowered.
Neurodiversity
This network creates awareness and provides an exchange platform to support neurodivergent colleagues and their teams in reaching their full potential through thoughtful adjustments to recruitment practices, management approaches and workplace environments.
Pride at Zalando
This group celebrates queer joy as it empowers LGBTQI+ talents and allies to drive company culture forward by turning shared experiences into collective strength and ensuring a workplace where "come as you are" is a lived reality.
Women in Finance
As a community for women in financial or corporate governance fields, this group provides an empowering platform for networking, mutual support and personal development.
Zalando Parents Group
This parent-led initiative fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace by advocating for family-friendly policies, providing development resources and creating a community where parents can flourish personally and professionally.
Zalando Women in Tech
This network empowers women across technology roles to connect, grow and lead by providing the community, resources and visibility needed to shape the future of technology at Zalando and beyond.
Zalando Women's Network
Driven by a FLINTA* perspective, this group acts as a catalyst for inclusive leadership and a culture of allyship that empowers every underrepresented voice at Zalando.
