PRAGUE, NOVEMBER 5, 2018 // “Looking good has never been easier. Find your style on Zalando.cz.”. This is the slogan with which Zalando, Europe’s leading online platform for fashion and lifestyle, is today officially kicking off its local awareness campaign in the Czech Republic. The campaign visualizes a trip around Prague's iconic spots in an eclectic mix of styles and fabrics, introducing not only Zalando's vision to the Czech audience, but also highlighting the breadth of its fashion assortment. In June this year, the Czech Republic joined Ireland as the first new markets for Zalando since 2013.
An in-house team produced the local campaign for TV, digital, radio and out-of-home advertising. Directing the campaign video is the award-winning film director, Paul Gerwin, who shot the clip in various locations in Prague, e.g. Florenc metro station, Strahov stadium or in front of the Hotel Intercontinental on Pařížská street. The photographer Felix Krüger stands behind the main visual materials, who showed Zalando key styles in the interiors of the Hotel International.
“As in previous Zalando market entries, we started with a soft launch to understand the Czechs’ needs and to gather together their initial feedback. Although we knew the potential of this market beforehand, the rapid adoption of the customers to our platform amazed us. This is why we designed this campaign for, and produced it in, the Czech Republic. We are dedicated to offering our customers a one-stop, convenient shopping experience with an extensive but unique selection of fashion articles including shoes, apparel, and accessories,” says Linus Glaser, Director of Central Europe.
Zalando’s Czech customers benefit from a broad assortment of almost 2,000 brands including GAP, Topshop, Monki. Premium brands such as Ralph Lauren, Armani Jeans, Calvin Klein or Michael Kors are also available. Customers have the option of free delivery and returns. In addition, Zalando offers a fully-developed fashion app that not only makes shopping convenient and speedier, but also suggests personalized products, and complete looks.
