Zalando continues to center the customer experience with a constant expansion of services, but also by offering especially exciting campaigns as seen during the Cyber Days. Black Friday gives us the chance to celebrate the strong relationship with our customers and to say thank you with around 180,000 Black Friday labeled items. This year, we saw amazing results: customers placed over one million orders. At peak times, orders reached more than 2,000 orders per minute; breaking 2016’s more than 1,500 record. Our best sellers were a black skinny jeans, a winter jacket and a logo t-shirt. Black Friday attracted over 100,000 new customers. Our teams worked very hard across several departments to offer a seamless Cyber Week, including our tech and logistics components who prepared for the event for several months.
