Stacia Carr, Head of Engineering at Zalando
Stockholm has a strong startup community and is one of Europe's most concentrated pools of tech talent. We can learn a lot from the cultural climate here, and participating in an event like Innovation Upclose is a way for us to get an injection of inspiration and get to know the scene better.
The evening drew an eclectic crowd from the Swedish tech scene, e-commerce industry, investors, institutions and interested media. The discussion was followed by an open Q&A session, where the panel participants answered questions spanning from how to hire the best talent and what to ask during an interview, to fair gender representation in tech heavy companies and how a diverse workforce fosters innovation at large.
