BERLIN, AUGUST 2, 2018 // From 31 August - 2 September Bread&&Butter by Zalando - The Pop-Up of Style and Culture (B&&B) celebrates its third edition at Arena Berlin. This year the event transforms into eight different B&&B districts for the ultimate urban experience. Here, visitors find 40+ brands, “see now, buy now” shopping options, next level customizations, workshops, Pop-Up shows, panel talks, a fire music line-up, appearances by today's cultural heroes and Berlin’s best street food.

B&&B BRAND POP-UPS

Streetwear lovers on the hunt for something special find 100+ exclusive pieces and exciting prelaunches. These items can be instantly purchased on-event at the playful Brand Pop-Ups and online via breadandbutter.com – the new B&&B shopping hub – which kicks off end of August on Zalando with exclusives dropping year-round.

Brand Pop-Up highlights happening at B&&B: adidas Originals channels the raw ’90s spirit of its exclusive Falcon model at B&&B together with a live music performance by MØ. Guests are invited to experience the sneaker’s universe and get their hands on the Falcon and Yung-96 before everyone else. Carhartt WIP teams up with London’s NTS Radio to broadcast live from the event with local and international talents, and DJ Workshops. Exclusive Carhartt WIP x NTS products will be on offer as will the pre-release drop of the Carhartt WIP x Trojan Records capsule collection. Converse sets up shop with ‘The Converse One Star Salon’ – a Pop-Up beauty parlor hosted by ISLA Berlin, with a special treatment menu and a sneaker customization bar. MAC Cosmetics brings the back stages of NYC, London, Milan, and Paris to Berlin for visitors to experience the latest beauty trends. For the second year, Mercedes-Benz is the official automotive partner hosting a Pop-Up with international live acts, as well as a limited hoodie collab with upcoming designer Chelo (THATBOII). Nike comes out in force, deconstructing their icons to reconstruct the future—a future empowered by women who put the “us” above the “me.” The Puma Pop-Up awakens the senses by tapping into ’80s tech. Sonic masters Roland allow visitors to get interactive with synthesizers as part of an audio installation, while Polaroid creates a kaleidoscopic world of color. Visitors can also shop the exclusive Polaroid RS-0 and Roland RS-0 collabs. At Reebok's Pop-Up Donut Diner, visitors order up a fresh batch of retro Americana while getting early access to the return of the Aztrek, their exclusive classic ’90s colorway sneaker. The North Face debuts at B&&B with an experience combining the outdoors, fashion, design, and music with an exclusive drop created just for B&&B. Timberland introduces Timberland Park, where attendees reconnect with nature, relax and learn more about the brand’s ongoing commitment to environmental causes. Additionally, the Timberland x Christopher Raeburn collaboration offers the chance to meet the fashion designer and take part in one of his innovative workshops. House of Vans, a cultural and creative manifestation brings a mix of live music, art, and street culture customization workshops.

B&&B SHOW POP-UPS

Bread&&Butter innovates its fashion show game by turning the former runway shows into unexpected Pop-Up performances and live installations happening throughout the event space. MAC Cosmetics lead with a highly-stylized Voguing Ball; paying homage to the underground dance movement that evolved from the 1980’s Harlem ballroom scene. Zalando presents a Fall/Winter ‘18 curation of streetwear styles, with surprise guests. HUGO lets you personalize their popular reversed logo design while jamming to the drumming of BÄM! Äcademy marching band. Emerging brands pop-up around District 3 and 6 throughout the day. Bread&&Butter by Zalando presents their exclusive collab with 032c, 'BOA17', inspired by Jerome Boateng through an innovative installation with a Boateng signing sesh.

B&&B TALKS

Several times a day Bread&&Butter gives a stage to enlightening conversations by today’s most relevant voices in fashion, music and culture. Friday: Following the special collab for B&&B, 032c and Jerome Boateng have a conversation on not soccer – but dogs and style. She’s Mercedes and Refinery 29 host a talk for Mercedes-Benz at their Brand Pop-Up. Saturday: B&&B presents how Instagram changed fashion, in a talk with UglyWorldwide and Gully Guy Leo. adidas Originals hosts a talk with a crew of female talents, including Danish singer-songwriter MØ alongside inspiring voices from the HYPEBAE fam. G-Star RAW speaks with Jaden Smith and other guests on how we can all lead change in sustainability. The iconic artist is collaborating with G-Star on a sustainable collection launching later this year. Sunday: MAC Cosmetics explores what beauty stands for today, while highlighting the latest trends. Timberland x Christopher Raeburn talk about the future of sustainable fashion, and how we can live with an intelligent approach to style as both a creator and consumer.

B&&B MUSIC

Expect everything from baile funk to hot new hip-hop to rap pioneers. Spread over three stages, B&&B visitors join stellar live performances, DJ sets, nightly after parties and audio-visual Pop-Up experiences by 70+ rising talents and the musicians of the moment. Highlights include: Evian Christ, Hamza, Kitty Ca$h, Luciano, Paigey Cakey, Princess Nokia, Sheck Wes, Stefflon Don, UFo361, Yung Hurn and more.
