Zalando en Marni lanceren cross-brand schoenencollectie #StepIntoMARNI

BERLIJN, 17 Oktober 2016 // Stap binnen in de wereld van Marni voor de lancering van  zijn cross-brand schoenencollectie. Het Italiaanse designermerk heeft vier van Zalando’s favoriete schoenenmerken – Dr. Martens, Reebok, Timberland en Vans - geherinterpreteerd. De limited edition #StepIntoMARNI is vanaf 27 oktober 2016 exclusief te koop bij Zalando.

Bekend voor zijn doordachte aanpak, ging Marni het DNA van elke schoen grondig bestuderen. Het resultaat is een originele interpretatie van vier populaire schoenenmerken die nu het artistieke en avant-gardistische imago van Marni dragen. In nauwe samenwerking met de brands blijft de collectie trouw aan het originele design van de schoenen, maar kreeg elk paar ook een verrassende, stijlvolle en moderne twist. Het resultaat is subtiel en elk exemplaar is nu al een collectors item.

De Step Into Marni-collectie brengt het onverwachte naar voren. Elk label en elke schoen werden  afzonderlijk bekeken. Marni experimenteerde met de vorm van de schoenen, ging aan de slag met innovatieve ledertexturen, zachte kleuren en typische Marni-kenmerken zoals franjes. Al deze elementen zorgen voor elegantie, maar tegelijk eenvoudige modellen met een abstract design, dat zowel voor mannen als vrouwen passend is. Het is een ware state of the art  - toegankelijk voor iedereen – collectie geworden.
